NOPO Control: Improves the degradation of nitrate – NO3 and phosphate – PO4 in any saltwater and freshwater aquarium. Thus, even high nitrate and phosphate values can be reduced quickly and effectively.

Push bacteria: The contained solution of selected hydrocarbons maximises the performance of bacteria present in the aquarium, increasing nitrate degradation and the associated phosphate degradation.

In combination with basic P & N: Since the bacteria in the aquarium need phosphate as an energy source to carry out important biological processes, they always break down nitrate and phosphate at the same time. A limitation of both substances is harmful to the plants and corals in the aquarium and also leads to bacteria stopping the execution of the biological processes almost completely. Therefore, if necessary, they balance phosphate and nitrate with MICROBE-LIFT Basic P and Basic N.

Use: start with a daily addition of 2 ml NOPO Control per 100 litres of water and increase it to max. 10 ml per 100 litres of water until a reduction in nutrient values is measurable. Keep the selected dosage until the desired nutrient values are reached and then adjust them if necessary to keep the values stable.
