Volute points reduce both separation and displacement of dartboard sisal fibres so reducing wear to the dartboard compared to other machined dart points which dramatically reduce the life of a sisal dartboard
The design results in less resistance to the point as it enters the sisal dartboard surface and the spiral grooves add surface area to grip more effectively leading to fewer bounce-outs than standard points
Volute points are fully compliant with Darts Regulation Authority rule 5.1.2
